NSX Concept Coming to India as an Acura

The old NSX was more Honda than Acura, the premium brand being in its infancy when when Ayrton Senna was telling us how fast it is around the Nurburgring. But now, thanks to insect like headlights and lots of movie cameo roles, Acuras are known around the world.
Earlier today, Honda of India announced the NSX Concept would be shown for the first time in the country, during the 2014 Auto Expo. Even though the NSX is coming to Europe under the Honda badge, the Indians are getting the Acura version.

The company's move indicates that the Acura brand could be coming to India some time in the future. This could be justified by the fact that models like the Brio and Amaze give Honda a budget car brand image there.

Regardless of their future plans, the NSX is an amazing car to behold. This concept is very close to the actual production vehicle, which will have a direct-injected, twin-turboV6 engine mated to Acura’s Sport Hybrid SH-AWD (Super Handling All-Wheel Drive) system. It will be assembled by hand in Ohio.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
