The 2014 Chrysler 300S looks quite impressive with its new “blacked out” look, and the Ambassador Blue interior proves that the Detroit-based company can still offer luxurious sedans. Sure, the 1957 300C ain’t coming back, but it’s good to know Chrysler can deliver quality under Fiat ownership.
Revealed about a week ago, the 2014 Chrysler 300S will be on display at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, the last important such event in the US this year, until December 1. As we’ve previously reported, the new flagship sports a brand new monochromatic look with body-colored door handles and front fascia inserts, Gloss Black belt molding and headlamp bezels, Black Chrome grille surround and sculpted horizontal grille blades.

The new 20-inch wheels feature a Hyper Black finish, the “Chrysler” badges are done in Liquid Chrome, while a new “straight shade” Dark Ceramic Gray clear coat completes the exterior picture. Interior updates include Ambassador Blue Nappa leather with silver stitching, color-matched console armrest and door armrests, Piano Black center center stack, instrument panel and steering wheels, matte carbon hydrographic accents and die-cast steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters.

The 300S keeps its standard Uconnect 8.4 infotainment and Beats by Dr.Dre audio system, as well as the two engine options comprising a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 rated at 300 HP and a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 with 370 HP.
