The Williams FW35, the last 2013 Formula One car to be revealed, was showcased at the Circuit the Catalunya in Barcelona, ahead of the second pre-season testing session.
An evolution of last year's car (big surprise, huh?), the Williams FW35 features a Coanda exhaust for the first time, along with brand-new gearbox, rear suspension, radiators, and bodywork. In short, about 80 percent of the car is new, with major focus on improving reliability.
"Given the rule stability over the winter," sayd Williams Technical Director Mike Coughlan, "I'm pleased with the gains that we've been able to make with this car. It's a better, more refined Formula One car than the FW34 and I think everyone involved in the project can feel proud of the work they've done."
The Williams FW35 cars will be driven in the 2013 Formula 1 season by Pastor Maldonado and Valtteri Bottas, while the development driver position was acquired by Susie Wolff.
