Over the years, some brands have wiggled their way into our hearts and minds. Two of the most recognized have to be Porsche and Puma and since they've been working together for a few years now, we've decided to bring their hottest lineup of apparel to light. But those kicks!
Folks, the name Porsche has been synonymous with peak automotive performance for decades, and Puma, the apparel brand, for nearly just as long; they're just masters of a different industry. However, since 2019, these two names have been walking hand in hand, and their most recent lineup of racing-inspired sports apparel is just "So hot right now."

Yet, this time around, a third name joins in on the fun, none other than Pro b-ball player LaMelo Ball, and together, the three names have unleased the gear you see in the image gallery. Be sure to check that out before going on.

Now, this isn't the first time that Puma and Porsche unveil a lineup of wearables. For example, back in 2020, the two brands unveiled a lineup of shoes inspired by nothing more than the 911 Turbo. It was based upon Puma's Future Rider and used to create two collections, "Air-Cooled" and "Water-Cooled," and limited to only 500 pairs across all sizes.

Since then, just about every new year has brought forth new and fresh gear - mostly kicks - and all inspired by Porsche's history, yet again, but with fashion input from Puma. Of the collections, my favorite has to be the 2022 collection celebrating 50 years of the Carrera RS 2.7 and that juicy Retro Sneaker from 2023

This time around, the 911 Turbo is once again the focus or inspiration for what we have before us, but it doesn't just include shoes, albeit those are the pièce de résistance. In all, there are hoodies, jackets, tees, sweatpants, shorts, the beefed-up All-Pro Nitro sneakers, and, most importantly, LaMela Ball's MB.03 variation with that bumblebee colorway, which is based upon the previously realized MB.03 platform from Puma and LaMelo. Since the latter is the seemingly prized possession of the collection, let's start with those.

Overall, the Porsche MB.03 comes in with that high-top look and black sole splash effect on a "bold" yellow backdrop. As we move up the shoe, it appears as though a Puma has taken a ferocious swipe at your feet and left its mark for the world to see; you outran it this time.

Since LaMelo's "01 of One" legacy is followed here, the Phoenix logo is present on the tongue, while the heel counter shows the iconic Puma at the top, "M.E.L.O." underneath, followed by "Porsche," written in Porsche Design's font, and finally, a thunderbolt that I still can't figure out the significance of. Let's not forget about the "RA" on the sole of the MB.03s and the Porsche logo on the toe cap.

All that's sitting on top of a mixture of materials the likes of leather, textile, rubber, and synthetics. Throw on a set of laces matching the color palette, Puma's Hoops technology with Nitrofoam midsole, and we're looking at a pair of ballers going for $135 (€125 at current exchange rates) on Puma's website.

Now, we can't make this all about the MB.03s, although we could; there are other goodies in the lineup. For instance, the other pair of kicks, the All-Pro Nitro, also deserves some attention and is no less hot than the other pumps.

Overall, the All-Nitro is a bit less packed with logos and symbols and, in my opinion, comes across as fit for just about any occasion. I'd even pair this with the right suit; I know, sacrilege. The All-Nitro platform sits as a base for just a few black racing strips (as I like to call them), "Porsche" and "turbo," and the classic Puma logo sitting on the tongue. With a few gloss black surfaces found on the heel counter and sole, we're looking at a simple, clean, effective, and worthy of the $140 (€130) asking price spotted on Porsche's website.

Regarding the remainder of the lineup, three types of lower-body garments and three styles of upper-body pieces complete the collection. From the images in the gallery, I'd have to say that I love the sweats and hoodies most and would also pair the tee with the sweats. Throw on the logo-filled jacket, and off I go. I can't say I'm too wild about those shorts or pit-crew-like pants, but some of us are sure to love 'em.

All that's left to do from here is scroll through our image gallery like you're shopping for this gear, picture yourself wearing it, and then visit Puma's or Porsche Design's webpage. Just be warned, if this collection is anything like the previous works from Puma x Porsche, you can bet you're bottom dollar that this may not be available next year, and if you find it somewhere, everyone will know that you're late to the game, and in fashion, you don't want to be late.
