When one hears about a Koenigsegg Agera R drag racing a Ford Focus, there are many strange scenarios that come to mind. We could be talking about the most heavily tuned Focus on the planet and the race still wouldn’t be fair, so this is out of the question.
The action takes place on an empty runway, so we are not dealing with a tight space that would give the Ford the advantage. Nonetheless, the Focus does receive a head start. A massive one. This is a one-mile drag race and the Ford gets a half-mile head start.

Not that it would matter, but this is a Mk II Ford Focus Estate, powered by diesel unit delivering 115 horses. We’l let you hit the “play” button now in order to see how the two battle it out.

Before you that do, let’s take a few moments to remember what the Agera R is capable of. Since Koenigsegg’s new One:1 toy hasn’t been officially tested yet, the Agera R still holds multiple acceleration and braking records.

Here are some figures for you:

0-300 km/h = 14.53 sec
0-200 mph = 17.68 sec

300-0 km/h = 6.66 sec
200-0 mph = 7.28 sec

0-300-0 km/h = 21.19 sec
0-200-0 mph = 24.96 sec
