Drifting may have become much more popular than it was a few years ago, when people were still arguing over whether driving your car sideways is a sport or not, but it certainly doesn’t come easy. Or does it? A polish racing driver is ready to show the world that nothing can stop you from living out your drifting dream if you’re determined enough.
Meet Ostalovski Bartos, a 26-year old who, according to a Youtube commenter, lost both arms in a car crash back in 2006. He wasn’t ready to give up his place in the driver’s seat though, so the guy learned how to steer a car with his foot.

One effort led to another and nowadays Bartos is not just a professional drifter, but also competes in the Polish Championship Rally Raceway Cross, as well as in the Cup of Poland. In fact, the drifter managed to become a national champion.

His machine is an R34 generation Nissan Skyline GT-T (for those who aren’t in the know, you can view this as a rear-wheel drive GT-R). The car features an automatic transmission, with Bartos using his right foot to operate the pedals and, like we said, his left foot to steer.

Moreover, the man changes gears with his shoulder, as a custom set of levers allows him to operate the transmission in its sequential mode. The footage below allows you to see how it all works, with the driver pulling some pretty sweet moves.
