Whenever we see new shocks with yellow springs and purple tops, we know we're about to see custom suspension from KW. These Germans know how to turn their extensive racing experience into awesome road mods, and their Variant 3 coilovers are proving popular.
Vivid Racing has decided the Focus ST needed a suspension upgrade, and so they fitted this 250 horsepower American hot hatch with a new set of KW's V3. The new system allows for both rebound and compression settings, while regular aftermarket shocks only have one setting which you can change.

The adjustments allow for you to fine tune how the shock reacts from compression into a bump and rebounding from a bump. Setting this to take into account driving style, vehicle use, tire choice, allows for you to have an exceptionally well balanced ride.

We really have no idea how Vivid Racing is making a simple upgrade, like replacing the suspension, look so cool.
