Wealthy people invest in luxury yachts for various reasons. While some do it out of genuine love of being on the water, for others, it's about the appeal of sailing or about showing off their financial strength. But for the majority of owners, the allure of yachts as movable status symbols is undeniable.
Moreover, for boat owners, it has become increasingly important that their leisure watercraft be an extension of their personalities, reflecting their unique style and preferences. For an international tech entrepreneur, this meant having the exterior of their boat painted in an eye-popping custom pink color.

The vessel in question is the fourth and final unit in VisionF Yachts' successful VisionF 80 series of aluminum catamarans, and its official name has not been revealed, though users commenting on social media suggest "Cotton Candy" or the "Pink Panther" would be suitable monikers. The pink hull and superstructure give the cat a gracious, sophisticated look and will surely make it stand out while it glides across the shimmering waters.

In stark contrast with the third hull in the series, which boasted an all-black appearance, the new catamaran looks like it should be moored in Barbie Land and even features a matching interior with fixed furniture and pink velvet carpets.

The Turkish yard was responsible for the vessel's interior and exterior design, as well as her naval architecture, while the eye-catching paintwork was realized by London-based Thurstan Design, which was also responsible for the distinctive design details. The interior decor was customized to the owner's personal tastes and seems to pay tribute to the 70s with pops of pink throughout, plush velvet carpets, and rounded sofa chairs.

The majority of the furniture pieces were produced in-house by VisionF, but the yacht also includes pieces from top designer labels such as Kravet, Moro, Rove Concepts, Crate & Barrel, Farrow & Ball, and more.

As for the layout, the owner didn't request any particular changes, so the catamaran features pretty much the same configuration as its predecessors. The living quarters comprise a spacious main salon that offers about 600 square feet of space for socialization and a galley on the portside hull, along with two luxurious ensuite guest staterooms forward. Meanwhile, the starboard side hull houses the large master suite, a twin-single guest cabin, and a crew cabin. In total, the vessel can accommodate up to eight guests and a crew of five.

The outdoor areas are geared toward relaxation and entertaining, with a flybridge that can double as a party space, an exterior helm station, and sun pads for basking in the sun.

The design also includes a small Williams jet tender, which is also pink. It is stored toward the stern, where a hydraulic platform can be lowered for easy access to the water or raised to serve as a tender garage.

Apart from looks, this pink yacht also delivers in terms of performance. Equipped with twin Volvo Penta IPS 1050 drives, the VisionF 80 catamaran can achieve a top speed of 18 knots and offers a range of over 1,800 nautical miles (3,333 km).
