Valentino Rossi Races a Ferrari 458 GT3 at Monza

One of our favorite supercar spotters from Italy, 19Bozzy92, has posted this very interesting and controversial video on Youtube over the weekend.
Yes, that Ferrari 458 Italia has been converted into a race car, and yes, that is Moto GP legend Valentino Rossi behind the wheel.

The 458 Italia GT3 has been kitted out with a very brash Monster Energy wrap and is uses the same color combo as the one used on a Ford Fiesta WRC during the 2011 Monza Rally Show last November, when Rossi was also behind the wheel.

Developed specifically for racing, the Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 is a very extreme iteration of the road-going car. The most important figure is the weight, as it’s been lowered by about 166 kg, but it’s also more planted, thanks to a 98 mm wider track.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
