If these were teenagers, we could chalk up this incident to their age and raging hormones, or maybe some stupid dare they took with their mates. However, 3 grown-up men, 2 men and 1 woman, were arrested in Australia in Oakey, after a stunt that could have had disastrous consequences.
They stole a car, a Volkswagen Polo, and drove it on the roads in Oakey, west of Brisbane, trying to cause accidents. On several occasions, the driver, who didn’t have a proper driver’s license, strove to ram the Polo into incoming cars, as the video at the bottom of the page will show.

Queensland Police confirms the incident, saying the 3 were finally apprehended after cops deployed a tire deflation device on Oakey Crosshill road. It blew 2 of the car’s tires, but the driver continued the pursuit for another 5 minutes.

The car eventually stopped for good on a rural property on Oakey Biddeston Road, and the cops had to forcefully drag its 3 occupants out. The chase lasted almost an hour, starting from the moment the car was stolen – and including the few minutes it took the 3 to fill it with gas and flee without paying.

Luckily, the incident didn’t cause any injuries, but the 3 are still looking at some serious time behind bars on a multitude of charges.

The 33-year-old driver “has been charged with one count each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, unlicensed driving, burglary, stealing, obstruct police and wilful damage,” Queensland Police says in a press statement.

The other male occupant of the car, 22, was charged with “stealing, obstructing police and unlawful use of a motor vehicle,” while the 26-year-old woman was charged with “unlawful use of a motor vehicle and obstructing police.”
