With Ferrari having now unleashed the 488 GTB, many people don't know what to believe when it comes to the Prancing Horse's turbo return, perhaps forgetting the mighty (turbocharged) F40.
Well, Swiss Billionaire Jürg Marquard certainly isn't one of those people. Not when he's been spotted at racetracks, manhandling a twin-turbo Ferrari F430.

Little is known about the self-made billionaire's racecar, but today we're bringing you a piece of footage that sees the gentleman racer in action. The footage was captured on the Monza track back in 2013, which means this motorsport machine was way ahead of the 488.

As for its driver, Marquard is known to pay regular visits to the circuit mentioned above, having embraced the Ferrari spirit for quite some time now.

Perhaps some of you are curious about the presence of the Playboy logo on the racecar. We have to explain most of the man's wealth comes from his publishing business, Marquard Media, whose portfolio includes publishing the bunny magazine in countries such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary and Poland.

Returning to the 488, we'll remind you Maranello may have only released the fixed-roof incarnation as far as street cars go, but the automaker has also given us two motorsport incarnations of the TT supercar.

The 488 racing scheme starts with the GT3 version, moving on to the higher-tier 488 GT3. As racing fans know, the GTE class now mixes the former GT2 and GT1 endurance categories.

And yes, the 488 GTE and the new Ford GT racecar will reignite the epic retro battle between the two carmakers, albeit not in the top endurance racing class.

In fact, we've given you a sample of what the 488 GT3 can do in the rain late last month, when we showed you the racecar being manhandled by Scuderia Corsa's Alessandro Pier Guidi. Those of you who missed the Rolex 24 at Daytona action can check it out here.
