BMW's M Division launched the second generation M4 well over three years ago, and the bold design has started growing on us. Who knows, maybe it will be the future Bangle-era 5er/M5 (E60), but so far, we still think its predecessor looks way better.
Replacing the two-door M3s, the first generation dates back to 2014 and is squeaky clean as far as the design is concerned. Multiple versions of the original M4 came out over the years, including the more track-focused CS and GTS, and nearly every tuner that matters has at least a few components on its shelves for it.

We'd thought that with the new M4 out, its predecessor wouldn't matter that much to the tuning world. But G-Power begs to differ, so they have introduced their latest take on yet another example. Christened the G-Power G4M Bi-Turbo, it features a new body kit, wheels, emblems, some special touches on the inside, and a few other things.

Starting on the outside, it is obvious that the carbon fiber hood came from the aftermarket world. It contributes to the aggressive styling of the car, together with the new chin spoiler, trunk lid attachment, side mirror casings, and diffuser. The alloys were added post-production, and from what we can tell, it rides a bit closer to the asphalt than the stock one.

G-Power's logos have replaced the traditional BMW roundels at both ends and on the wheels, and another new emblem decorates the trunk lid right above the left taillight. You see, the M4 is one of the few non-exotic machines that can truly rock a bold exterior paint finish, though in this case, it has a rather conservative-looking gray. A special plaque mounted on the center console completes the makeover.

This is no ordinary F82 M4, as it is in the hotter CS configuration. As a result, its twin-turbo 3.0-liter straight-six produces 454 hp (460 ps/338 kW) and 443 pound-feet (600 Nm) of torque, up from the standard car's 425 hp (431 ps/317 kW) and 406 lb-ft (550 Nm). The 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) takes 3.9 seconds, a three-tenth improvement over the M4 Competition, and top speed is capped at 174 mph or 280 kph.

Rather strangely, G-Power hasn't mentioned the oily bits of this tuned project. Thus, we cannot tell you if it boasts more power or not. However, what we do know is that this tuner has all kinds of power upgrades in store for the F82 generation BMW M4, the hottest of which unlocks 739 hp (750 ps/551 kW), turning it into a supercar hunter. Lesser versions are also available, including 651 hp (660 ps/485 kW), 552 hp (560 ps/412 kW), and 493 hp (500 ps/368 kW).
