The perfect car doesn't exist and never will, as no ride can do multiple tasks flawlessly. However, a few models get close to being ideal for most scenarios, and the Audi RS 6 Avant deserves to have its name mentioned.
But why mention this particular machine? Because one example recently fell into the hands of a very controversial tuner: DarwinPro Aero. Mind you, instead of making it look laughable, the company has stepped up its game, coming up with a project that is worthy of the bedroom poster status.

Unfortunately, DarwinPro Aero hasn't detailed each and every aftermarket aspect of this German executive super wagon. However, some of the modifications are clear, like the new front bumper that copies the look of the OEM one, featuring a new lower air intake and a few attachments to the sides. The tuning fairy has also visited the hood, which features a vented design.

Chunky side skirt add-ons can be seen on the sides, and from what we can tell, the mirror caps carry over. Out back, the bumper seems to be the OEM piece, but the diffuser attached to it is new. It has a multi-fin design, a brake light in the middle, and cutouts for the dual oval exhaust tips, which are a signature trait of RS models. Two aftermarket spoilers were attached to the tailgate, which has new emblems on it.

We don't claim to be wheel experts, but those Y-spoke alloys, wrapped in sticky tires from Michelin on all four corners, appear to have come from the tuning world, too. The Audi RS 6 Avant's already generous luggage space has been improved with the addition of a roof box that allows occupants to store more stuff and pack extra for that much-deserved getaway. The whole car has a black finish, save for the body kit components that feature a carbon fiber look.

There is no word on this car's oily bits, but in the hot Performance version, the latest Audi RS 6 Avant enjoys a whopping 621 hp (630 ps/463 kW) straight from the factory, with the 4.0L twin-turbo V8 producing 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque. Everything goes to the quattro all-wheel drive system via an eight-speed gearbox. From zero to sixty mph (97 kph), the RS 6 Avant Performance needs only 3.3 seconds and has a 155 mph (250 kph) limited top speed.

Audi's RS 6 Avant Performance is available in our market, carrying a $125,800 MSRP for the 2024 model year. Regarding pricing, DarwinPro Aero hasn't mentioned it when it comes to the goodies mentioned above and encourages interested parties to contact them. Don't forget to drop a line below and tell us how much everything costs if you do that.
