Fitting a DarwinPro Aero Kit to the Audi RS 6 Avant Is One Way of Ruining It

The aftermarket world of OTT players does not include many companies. One of the best-known names is Mansory, but Keyvany also needs to be mentioned here, and so does DarwinPro Aero.
The latter gave us several exaggerated projects recently, like that salmon BMW M4 with numerous add-ons, and they have also signed this once-fine Audi RS 6 Avant. The executive super wagon is on the ridiculous side, as no true petrolhead would ever go for this look.

But it is what it is, and while some fender flares would suit the design, albeit in smaller proportions than the ones fitted to this car, the rest of the add-ons certainly don't do justice to it. It has a humongous chin spoiler that can be adjusted, large side flicks decorating the bumper, exaggerated add-ons behind the rear wheels, and a set of fat side skirts.

Featuring a huge diffuser with a four-fin design, the back end is just as flashy. And that's not all, as this RS 6 Avant also has a large spoiler on the upper part of the tailgate and a smaller one right above the taillights. With their concave design and Y-spoke pattern, the wheels came from the aftermarket world, too, and they contribute to the flashy look of this project.

Inside, you will find black leather upholstery on the seats and other components, and a steering wheel that mixes suede and carbon fiber and features an integrated display on the upper part that provides additional information to the driver on the go. The seats still sport the RS branding on them, so chances are the upholstery is the stock one here.

Multiple mechanical enhancements are also part of the build, like the KW suspension that has brought the body closer to the road. The car also has an Amrytrix exhaust system for additional pops and bangs and boasts a Stage 3 tuning of the engine. Partially visible through the new hood, the mill is a 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8, making 552 hp (560 ps/412 kW) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque with no mods.

This is a previous-gen Audi RS 6 Avant, which would've normally needed just under four seconds to hit 62 mph (100 kph), tapping out at 155 mph (250 kph). However, with the extra oomph, it is much more agile. Unfortunately, VDMCars, which released the images shared above on social media earlier this week, couldn't be bothered to reveal the magic numbers. Therefore, we don't know anything about the new output, torque, sprint time, and top speed.

The vehicle is marked as being a new arrival, and that probably means that it is searching for a new home. And if it is, expect to pay a jaw-dropping amount of money for it – or so we think, anyway.
