With the exception of Italian bike maker Ducati, which likes to present the bulk of its future motorcycles before the year ends, the rest of the industry's biggest players mostly do that in the first few months of the new year. So you should get ready for a flood of motorcycle novelties in the weeks ahead.
The biggest presentation is to come our way courtesy of Harley-Davidson, which already said it will spill the beans on most of the new things it has prepped for 2024 on January 24. As usual, it'll be a virtual presentation, with no actual hands on touchy-feely from the customers.

The Brits from Triumph plan to do things differently. Because they plan a major expansion in North America in the coming years, they will run over the next couple of months something called the British Invasion Tour.

It's an on-road event that will see Triumph display the most recent motorcycles, including the ones that are not available yet, at dealerships in 20 cities across the United States.

The event, the first of this kind for Triumph in a very long time, will run from January 9 to the end of February, and in each of the cities it will manifest itself it will consist of a one-night-only first look at 2024 model year bikes, but also entertainment, food, and beverages.

The stars of each of these shows will be of course the bikes Americans have not seen in the flesh yet for the new model year. The list includes the TF 250-X motocross beast, the Speed 400, Scrambler 400 X, and their brand-new single-cylinder engine, and also the Scrambler 1200 XE and 1200 X.

They will be accompanied on the scene by the Tiger 900 Rally Pro and GT Pro, and a series of special edition 2024 motorcycles, based mostly on the Thruxton.

What we're really looking forward to is a brand new 660 model the Brits have promised to preview during this tour. Described as "a new legend" about to hit the streets, the bike will first be shown at the British Invasion Tour event in Los Angeles, California, where this entire madness is scheduled to unfold first.

No exact details on the motorcycle were presented, not even when we are to expect it in full, but we'll update you once we learn more.

Taking part in Triumph's British Invasion Tour is free. To make sure you are near one of the places where the bikes are coming, a special website was created. As you'll see, the bike maker will focus its efforts mostly on the West Coast of the United States, but it'll cross over to Canada as well with quite a number of events.
