More and more companies are starting to recognize the advantages of having a hybrid vehicle fleet and one of the latest ones is Toshiba Tec UK.
Toshiba Tec has chosen the Toyota Auris Hybrid Touring Sports as the ideal fleet vehicle for its UK engineers, switching to the brand with an initial order of 28 units.
“We wanted to secure the most modern and economical solution, a vehicle that has strong environmental qualities that supports our drive to reduce our carbon emissions, but which equally can provide our engineers with reliable transport and the space they need for their equipment.” said Toshiba Tec Fleet and Facilities Co-ordinator Brian Goddard.
The Auris Hybrid Touring Sports is locally built in the UK, offering plenty of load space easy to use and access. With the rear seats up, the boot provides 530 liters, which can be extended to 1,658 liters using the one-touch Easy Flat system to fold the seats.
Fitted with the 1.8-liter hybrid powerplant, the car returns 76.3 mpg UK (63.5 mpg UK / 3.7 l/100 km), while also offering smooth performance and the quietness needed for a relaxing drive.
