The world’s largest general use car rental brand, Hertz, just introduced 40 new Toyota Prius hybrids into its Green Collection in Australia in order to keep up with the CO2 emission print.
"Globally we are constantly looking for initiatives that reduce environmental impacts. The Green Collection highlights this commitment and features vehicles that reduce CO2 emissions to a practicable minimum." said Hertz International group president Michel Taride.

The new Toyota Prius offers a spacious and stylish drive while making the most out of the Toyota Hybrid Synergy Drive system, comprising a four-cylinder gasoline engine aided by two electric motors in the car’s gearbox, managing to achieve 51 mpg in the city and 48 on the highway.

Hertz has about 200 locations in Australia, including all major airports, cities and a large number of regional towns.
