Spyker B6 Venator To Have Toyota-Based Engine

It’s been said that Dutch sportscar manufacturer Spyker wants to fit a Lotus-built V6 engine under the hood of its upcoming B6 Venator model.
Why would you want to learn that on this blog? Because the Lotus V6 got its heart from Toyota. Yep, all that suck, squeeze, bang, blow times six times thousand of times per minute will happen in a trusty Toyota engine block.

As Autoweek.nl reported, Spyker CEO Victor Muller sent letters to all possible customers, in which he was speaking about the B6 to be powered a Lotus-built engine using a Toyota-sourced block.

The engine could be the 3.5-liter V6 fitted in the Lotus Exige S, which makes 350 hp and 400 Nm of torque.
