Toyota's Gazoo Racing Division is celebrating a production milestone with the delivery of the 100th GR Supra racer. And instead of baking a cake, they decided to launch an extremely limited edition version of it, which features a few modifications.
Based on the Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO, it was named the 100 Edition and is said to be a collector's item. The reason is the extremely limited production, as only three of them will ever see the light of day. One is destined for North America, one for Europe, and one for Asia. And despite being based on an actual racer, it does not feature GT4 homologation, so its future owners will only get to enjoy it during the occasional track day.

Finished exclusively in Plasma Orange to match the specification of the GT4 100th Edition Tribute, the new Toyota GR Supra GT4 100 Edition builds on the 444-horsepower (450 ps/331 kW) GT4 EVO. Compared to the competition variant, it has a bigger vent on the hood and new dive plane pieces at the front that improve downforce. The exhaust system does not include a muffler anymore, so the six-pot turbocharged engine with a 3.0-liter displacement sounds throatier, according to the Japanese company.

Toyota also says that the Power Stick governing the output of the lump has the same Plasma Orange color. Additional highlights of this limited machine are the endurance LED headlights, side mirror casings made of carbon fiber, and a passenger seat so that the driver can take a close one aboard as they blast through corners. Both seats have a special embroidery that reads '100 Edition.' A unique logo on the dashboard reads '1 of 3 – 100 Edition,' and a distinctive logo decorates the car cover.

The new 100 Edition version of the GR Supra GT4 EVO costs a lot of money. Pricing for the North American market has not been released at the time of writing, but the car manufacturer states that it will set its buyer back a whopping €220,000 on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. It equals $236,440 at today's exchange rates and does not include taxes and delivery costs. This makes it more expensive than a brand-new Porsche 911 Turbo S, which has an MSRP of $230,400 in the United States. For roughly $100k more, you could get a new supercar to enjoy on weekends or on a daily basis.

The street-legal Toyota GR Supra costs way less than that. For the 2024 model year, Toyota is asking at least $45,540, excluding destination, for the entry-level variant. The base model packs a 2.0L engine, and for the most affordable 3.0L version, interested parties will have to cough out at least $54,500.
