Tom Hanks has so many Emmy awards that he really doesn’t need any new ones. In fact, they’re not the coveted accolades you or I believe them to be. For Tom, they’re just a source of amusement.
Tom recently twitted a video of himself driving around in a Lincoln limo with an Emmy taped to the hood. Attatched to it was the message “How I’m getting around these days! Hanx”.
Hopefully, this will start a revolution, and people with start replacing the Spirit of Ecstasy with Oscars and Golden Globes. We think the UEFA cup would look even cooper sticking out there like a sore thumb.
Just to clear things up, Tom Hanks is awesome for ding this, and he’s always trying to make people laugh. They’re likely going to threaten to recall the awards if he does something like this again, but it’s probably worth it.
It’s also nice to see he didn’t get to the awards in a Prius, just an old Lincoln Town Car. After all, you can’t save the baby seals and win awards at the same time.
