In an ideal world, we all know the answer to that question would be 'heck, no,' but on the other hand, we also know that there are several boy racers out there who are rubbing their hands together while looking at this BMW M4 Coupe.
The reason is obvious, as the widebody kit makes it stand out like a sore thumb. In fact, the finished project looks like the love child of Liberty Walk and Mansory. And it needs to be put up for adoption immediately. But it doesn't have anything to do with those tuners, as the company behind it is ADRO.
The name is an acronym for Aerodynamic Development Race Optimization, and a quick look on its website reveals that ADRO was founded in 2020. Their components are said to be designed in California and made in South Korea, and they have multiple widebody proposals in their portfolio for cars made by BMW, Mercedes, Genesis, Tesla, Ford, Toyota, Chevrolet, Hyundai, and Kia.
As for the pictured BMW M4, it features multiple visual modifications. Up front, it seems to retain the OEM bumper, albeit with numerous add-ons, including a different integrated grille with fewer horizontal slats and a large apron, joined by a new hood. A sporty diffuser with large side blades can be seen at the rear, and the trunk lid hosts a ginormous wing. The fenders were also widened, and it has a pair of fat side skirts with a very aggressive design.
Certainly not a build for everyone, as the tuner admits in the images shared on social media, this premium compact sports coupe has a yellow daytime running light signature inspired by the M4 CSL. Featuring extremely wide lips and hugged by thin rubber at both axles, the Y-spoke alloys with a bi-tome look were signed by HRE, and they're part of their S101 series. The re-tuned suspension that resulted in the lower ground clearance completes the makeover.
Scrolling through ADRO's social media accounts, we found an image that partially reveals the interior of this BMW M4 Coupe. The car has black and brown leather upholstery, and the tuner's name was embossed into the headrests. We don't know if this is where they drew the line, but we suspect their logo might be decorating other parts of the cabin, as well.
There is no reference to a potential power boost anywhere, so it is likely that it retains the original output. This means 503 hp (510 ps/375 kW) in the Competition Coupe and Competition xDrive Coupe, with the former being rear-wheel drive and the latter adding the M Division's rear-biased all-wheel drive system. The base M4 Coupe, on the other hand, enjoys 473 hp (480 ps/353 kW) from its twin-turbo 3.0-liter straight-six engine.
