A “decent” 1966 Dodge Charger that is now being sold on eBay, with the owner explaining that it only needs new brakes and it’s good to go.
Most of the classic Chargers that you can find these days and which haven’t been restored already typically require quite a lot of work to be brought back to an average condition, not to mention the extensive restoration that is required should the owner want a model in tip-top shape.

But the person selling this ‘66 Charger says the car is “cosmetically nice” and “runs strong,” so technically, all it needs is new brakes and you should be able to drive it back home after buying it.

Indeed, the photos seem to suggest that the exterior has received a paint job at some point recently, albeit the owner doesn’t provide any specifics in this regard in the ad.

On the other hand, the images do show that most of the restoration work would have to be made inside where the upholstery is in awful condition. At first glance, there’s nothing that can’t be fixed, so if you’re planning to buy this Charger, it could all prove to be a pretty cool restoration project.

This ‘66 Charger is fitted with a 383ci (6.3-liter) engine paired with a 4-speed transmission. The 1966 Dodge Charger is the first-generation model, and it was offered with a choice of several engines, all of them V8.

It goes without saying that whoever buys this Charger still needs to spend a little extra to fix the interior, but with the right upholstery work, it can easily become their new driver.

At the time of writing, there are 25 bids in the eBay auction, and the highest bid is currently $8,300. There still some 4 days left until the fight for the “rare” Dodge Charger finally comes to an end.
