Right up to the aptly-named Final Edition, which sends off the super truck with a steep price tag, the Ram 1500 TRX was offered in different other special attires. One of them was called the 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition, and it came out roughly one and a half years ago.
Recognizing it is easy as it came with a Mojave Sand exterior, bespoke to this model, sprinkled by the TRX graphics, and sitting on black 18-inch wheels wrapped in 35-inch all-terrain tires from Goodyear. A spray-in bedliner, a bed step, and tie-downs were also part of the package.

Inside, it packs black leather upholstery stitched together with light frost string. The backrests feature TRX embroidery. Elsewhere, it gets carbon trim, a unique badge on the center console, a flat-bottom steering wheel with heating, heated and ventilated seats, a head-up display, a digital rearview mirror, premium audio from Harman Kardon, and others.

Mind you, the upgrades are modest, but at least the Ram 1500 TRX Sandblast Edition retains the ubiquitous Hellcat motor. The supercharged 6.2-liter V8 churns out 702 horsepower (712 ps/524 kW) and 650 pound-feet (881 Nm) of torque, delivered to the four-wheel drive system via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The supertruck takes 4.5 seconds to 60 mph (97 kph), has a 118 mph (190 kph) top speed, and can deal with the quarter mile in 12.9 seconds at 108 mph (174 kph).

Now, when the Sandblast Edition version of the 1500 TRX was still on sale, Ram used to ask $98,285 for each copy, excluding the $1,795 destination fee and those greedy dealer markups. If you missed your chance to buy one and you are searching for that perfect example on the second-hand market, look no further than this one, which is a brand-new machine with only the delivery miles on the odo.

As a result, there isn't much to report on it, as it likely still retains the new-car smell. Garage Kept Motors is advertising this agile workhorse, and as you can assume, it has one owner in the papers. According to the listing, which you can access here, it has some $20,000 worth of optional extras. As a result, it would have set its owner back at least $120,000 when they purchased it.

So, how much do you think they are asking for it? Well, it's not an exaggerated price, to be honest, as you could make it yours for $129,900. Is it a good deal? Would you sign your name on the dotted line and transfer this sum to the vendor, or would you keep searching the used car market for another 1500 TRX, one that wasn't part of a special edition? Decisions, decisions, though it's a nice dilemma to have.
