As we’ve seen at the Guangzhou Auto Show in China, Lexus’ smallest hybrid CT just received some fancy updates so it will run for another year or two, until a fully revised one will come by.
Mechanically, the facelifted hatch comes with the same powertrain, but the engineers have increased the body rigidity, a revised suspension setting and a remapped transmission control.
On the outside, the vehicle wears a new spindle grille, revamped front bumper, new foglight surroundings, rear bumper, new 10-spoke rims and a shark-fin antenna. The F Sport version comes with special rims and front grille mesh, a rear roof spoiler with cut-outs for increased downforce, aluminum pedals, scuff plates, a glossy black roof and some new finishes.
One of the new finishes is the superb Redline, which looks much better than the previous Matador Red Mica, somehow reminding of the color you can get on the Lexus LFA. You can admire it in the photo gallery bellow.
