The low tax, running costs and emissions delivered by Toyota and Lexus hybrids have proved a perfect combination for Itec, an international print and document processing business that recently signed a £1.5 million three-year deal for more than 60 vehicles with Agility Fleet.
Having seven offices in the UK, Itec saw its large vehicle fleet as a key component in its strategy to reduce its emissions by 50 percent over the next five years and Agility Fleet was the one to respond to its brief by recommending the hybrid Auris hatch, Auris Touring Sports Hybrid, Lexus CT 200h and IS 300h.
“We have taken delivery of our first half-dozen vehicles and have been delighted. All the cars are feature-rich and a joy to drive.” said Itec managing director Nick Ome. “We have saved more than £70,000 on contract hire costs and expect to make a similar saving in fuel. Staff have seen their Benefit-in-Kind tax reduced considerably and are enjoying the extra boost to their pay packet at the end of the month.”
