For quite some time now, Ramona Rusu has been winning all sorts of drifting competitions around Europe, most of the times going up against guys that were really blown away by what she could do. Starting off with a Miata she eventually upgraded to the king of drifting, the E30 3 Series.
Now, she’s involved in all sorts of projects, one of them in collaboration with Z-Performance wheels, a company we wrote about on numerous occasions. Since she’s Romanian and lives next to the piece of tarmac Top Gear called ‘the best driving road in the world’(the Transfagarasan Highway)it was a shame not to use it the best way she knows how.
Therefore she and Gabi Ifrim, another renowned drifter from Romania, joined forces with Z-Performance and EvLSkillz (the man behind the camera) and put together a most beautiful short clip about some sort of love story.
We don’t know exactly what that story is but as far as we can tell from the video, the two pose as a married couple that has an argument and decide to settle it on the street with their tuned E30s. What ensues is absolutely brilliant, showing us just how beautiful synchronized drifting really is, when done right. We won’t keep you any longer, check out the end result and tell us what you think!
