When a stunt driver went up a couple of stories in a parking lot, sideways, in the iconic Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift movie back in 2006, everyone was amazed. The movie took a closer look at what would end up being recognized as an official motorsport in Japan, drifting.
In the movie, the ‘weapon of choice’ was a Nissan 350z but other cars are also capable of such amazing feats, especially BMWs. The rear-end of an E36 is very well known to be ‘playful’ and the guys from Norbefilms thought it would be a good idea to remake the famous scene.

Said and done: they got a 325i, a very skilled driver and went to work. The end result is pretty impressive, full of smoke and a real treat for any true gearhead to watch. The scene is actually part of a short film called "The Ugly Duckling" that I also posted below. Enjoy!
