The 1958 Lincoln Continental marked the debut of the third-generation series, with the parent company sticking with four body styles, namely 2-door hardtop and convertible, and 4-door sedan and Landau.
The Continental continued to be available with a single engine option – the 430 (7.0-liter) big-block unit paired with a 3-speed Turbo-Drive automatic gearbox.

The same engine was used to put the wheels in motion on several other models in the Ford group, including the Mercury and Ford Thunderbird. The 430 developed 375 horsepower on the 1958 model year but dropped to 350 horsepower in 1959. In 1960, Ford dropped the power rating to 315 horsepower.

Someone on eBay has come up with a unique offer. Their auction includes not one, not two, but three separate 1958 Lincoln Continentals, two convertibles and one hardtop.

The Continental trio comes in a rough shape, but the red-on-red convertible looks more solid. The seller says it has very little rust, but considering the overall condition of the Continentals, you should still inspect everything in person before committing to a purchase.

The biggest surprise happens under the hood. All these rough projects still have their original engines, so you'll also get a trio of 430 big blocks ready for tarmac. It's impossible to tell if these engines are still alive, but the red convertible should come with a V8, which at least turns over by hand.

eBay seller barnescoredrilling says they have plenty of parts for their projects, including bumpers, air cleaners, radiators, chrome trim, and so on. All of these should make a potential restoration more convenient, though it's unclear if all parts are original and come in good shape.

The best news is that a trio of Lincoln Continentals should help a restorer bring at least one of these projects back to life. However, given the offer includes three very complete Continentals, I wouldn't be surprised to see someone shooting for the stars and trying to save all three projects. Indeed, the convertible looks more solid, but refreshing the second convertible and the hardtop might be worth it if all parts are still available.

The auction starts at $1,500 for the trio, and considering the owner did not enable a reserve, whoever sends the highest bid will take the three cars home. The seller says they tweak the vehicles to roll and steer freely, so you can get them on a trailer with little effort.

Given the rust shape, you should inspect the undersides and the metal parts in person before committing to a purchase, and you can do this in Woodinville, Washington. The auction will end in approximately five days, so contact the seller for additional information if you believe these Lincolns should return to the road.
