Moving into a tiny house activates a life change for many, especially if the said house is built on a trailer and offers the perk of mobility. It motivates people to spend more time outdoors and encourages freedom and adventure. The Raven tiny home on wheels could be your first step towards a more independent lifestyle, offering you a mobile living space that does not compromise on comfort or style.
Some of the most cited reasons for moving into a pint-sized home and adopting a minimalist lifestyle include the desire to lead a simpler life and develop sustainable practices. Tiny homes can help people achieve their goals of reducing their carbon footprint in various ways. For starters, these dwellings are energy efficient because they are small and require much fewer materials to build and much less energy to maintain.

They also lend themselves well to the inclusion of renewable energy sources and can help owners achieve self-sufficiency with solar power, rainwater collection systems, composting toilets, and more.

This is also the case with Raven, a 30-foot by 8.5-foot (9.14 by 2.6-meter) tiny home designed and built by Rewild Homes, a Vancouver Island-based manufacturer that has been in the tiny house industry since 2014. The expert team at the Canadian builder has crafted numerous fully off-grid units so far, helping their customers achieve their dreams of financial freedom and sustainable lifestyle.

Built on a triple-axle trailer, the Raven boasts an all-black exterior clad in metal that has earned it its name and is one of the most gorgeous pint-sized dwellings we've come across lately.

While the outside of the house might seem a little somber with its modern, industrial look, the interior is nothing alike. Characterized by simplicity, the interior uses an eclectic design with a unique mix of nature-inspired aesthetics and modern comfort. It exudes a serene, lively atmosphere thanks to the warm color palette, potted plants scattered around the living space, and some fine art pieces, all of which combined reflect energy and enthusiasm.

The 350 square feet (32.5 square meters) of interior space are divided between a well-organized kitchen, a snug living room, a gorgeous bathroom, and two lofted areas.

You are welcome inside the Raven through a full-light double glass door that leads directly into the open-plan living room and kitchen area. The white shiplap walls throughout are complemented by durable and environmentally conscious acacia floorings and dark solid wood trim around the windows and the staircase. Several narrow windows both downstairs and in the lofts ensure enough natural light gets inside and creates a bright atmosphere.

You already know that every tiny house seems to have one room that receives a bit more attention from the designers. In this case, it's neither the living room nor the kitchen. The highlight of the design is the bathroom, which comes with a dark theme and spa-like ambiance.

Designed as more than just a functional space, this bathroom is capable of offering a unique spa-like forest grotto experience thanks to its natural slate-tiled floors, Japanese Shou Sugi Ban wallboards, and an all-black-tiled shower. It also features a large vanity with a stunning blue glass sink, a composting toilet, and a cabinet for storage. A washer/dryer combo is also part of the mix, which means the space doubles as a laundry.

The huge L-shaped kitchen is a home cook's dream. It comes with custom blue cabinetry, acacia butcherblock countertops, and open shelving for storage. To enable you to cook all your favorite meals, the builders accoutered it with a propane range, a double sink, and a full-size refrigerator. The generous amount of counter space means you can always add other smaller appliances to ease your work in the kitchen.

There is also a breakfast nook that seamlessly integrates into the kitchen design and faces a window offering beautiful views of the surroundings.

The master loft above the kitchen serves as a bedroom and is accessed via a custom staircase with storage cubicles underneath the steps. It is large enough to fit a queen-size bed and has an opening skylight that ensures proper ventilation and allows you to stargaze from your bed.

There is also a secondary loft at the opposite end of the house. It can also be used as a sleeping space for guests or children, but it has been purposefully designed as a library nook, as it comes with open shelving for your favorite books.

Phillips Hue smart lighting throughout the home, brushed gold fixtures, solid wood trims, and some art pieces illustrating ravens add a touch of elegance to the interior.

Given that the house can operate fully off-grid with a state-of-the-art solar package, a dual-fuel generator, propane appliances, and composting toilet, it is well suited for remote locations. A propane on-demand water heat and propane space heat enhance this home's functionality and comfort.

With its well-thought-out layout, off-grid capability, and high-end finishes, the Raven could easily become a dream tiny home for any travel-loving individual. What's more, the versatility of the design allows further customization to truly make it feel your own. Since every home built by Rewild Homes is fully custom, the team hasn't revealed info about the price, as the final cost of such a build can vary quite a bit based on materials, style, features, and amenities.
