Let's watch action star Glenn Powell (Top Gun: Maverick) lead his convoy of Ram off-road trucks as they deliver the first official information about the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO. By the way, it didn't come alone – there's also the new 2025 Ram 1500 Rebel X special edition.
If you hurry, the 2024 Ram 1500 TRX, with its dune-bashing and rock-crawling abilities enabled by the 700-hp 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8, is still available starting from $96,590. That is one of no less than nine variants still offered on the Ram online portal to eager customers who crave for a 2024 Ram 1500 series rather than the updated 2025MY. However, all of them are bowing out sooner rather than later, and the 2025 Ram 1500 lineup is also up for grabs from a more sensible $40,275 starting price.
The Stellantis brand is slowly building up the hype for the refreshed model, and now they also released the first information and pricing details about some of the special 1500s in the lineup – the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO and the 2025 Ram 1500 Rebel X special edition. Speaking of the RHO, no one should treat it as a successor or even a direct replacement for the TRX as Ram is abandoning the V8 field and letting the 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor R take the crown with its uprated 720-hp supercharged mill. So, the RHO now has a 3.0-liter high-output turbo mill with 540 hp and 521 lb-ft.
Instead, the RHO (which is short for rhino, as evidenced by the official badge) will strive to "push the limits of off-road trucks further than ever before." Well, one thing is for certain – it's doing it at a much lower starting MSRP – the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO is available to configure from $69,995 (plus $1,995 for the destination charge) and comes with a bespoke textured upper grille, a redesigned front bumper and lower grille and additional unique styling elements like the side and hood graphics.
It rides on 35-inch off-road ready tires and optional 18-inch beadlock-capable wheels; there's a powered tailgate, a sport performance dual exhaust with five-inch black-painted tips, dual front and one rear tow hook, animated front, and rear LED lights, LED fog lamps, plus extended wheel flares, among others. Inside is a center console-mounted shifter with manual shift mode, an optional 4.5-inch Uconnect touchscreen with split-screen functionality, and an available 10.25-inch Front Passenger Touchscreen Display along with the 12-inch Driver Information Digital Cluster Display.
Secondly, the new 2025 Ram 1500 Rebel X special edition was also announced alongside RHO but there's no pricing information just yet – the 2025 Rebel is starting from $66,845, by the way. Also, Ram advises fans that only limited quantities of the Rebel X will be available for the variant featuring an exclusive (optional) Mojave Sand exterior hue, Rebel X bedside graphics, 18-inch wheels, black door handles, powder-coated bumpers, "leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters and a leather-wrapped center console-mounted shifter knob," plus a dual panoramic sunroof and leather-trimmed vinyl bucket seats with red accent stitching.
