Even a tiny home can boast spectacular architecture, matched by a truly luxurious interior design. The beautiful Grand Gable was designed for supreme comfort, and it shows. Starting with a comfy main-floor bedroom and ending with a surprisingly elegant bathroom, this custom tiny house is simply one of the best family homes on wheels ever built.
The Grand Gable is the result of a successful collaboration between a creative customer with lots of good ideas and the talented team at Style & Grace Homes. The unique name reflects its distinctive architecture. From the outside, you'll notice the home's accentuated slope.

According to the builders, it was the maximum possible with this design for the purpose of integrating as many windows as possible. As a result, the home is much more luminous than similar models and feels more spacious and airy.

The Grand Gable is no humble abode. It combines a 34 feet length (10.3 meters) with a 10 feet width (3 meters), making it one of the larger models out there. These generous dimensions allow for a lavish main floor layout with a large main bedroom, an inviting living room in the center, a bathroom with a bathtub, and a wonderful U-shaped kitchen covering one end of the house. Upstairs, the home reveals a second bedroom with great views and plenty of space.

This family home was designed to be a warm and comfortable sanctuary. The metal roof and cedar siding on both sides give it a traditional farmhouse look. Inside, it reveals a lovely color palette in neutral tones with a few green accents. The sofa in the living room sits between the front glass doors and large windows at the back, which help bathe this entire area in sunlight.

This is truly a family living room with an eight-foot (2.4 meters) sofa and a plush chair. There's enough room for everyone to get together, while the discrete storage compartments and shelves play both a functional and decorative role. A small hallway with added storage separates this part of the house from the main bedroom and the bathroom, a configuration that enhances privacy and relaxation.

A tiny house main-floor bedroom is always a treat. It's easy to access and just as comfortable as a traditional bedroom. Since the Grand Gable is all about the windows, this main bedroom also gets plenty of natural light and beautiful views. A double bed dominates the room, still leaving enough space for storage.

Perhaps the most unusual feature is that behind the large closet's doors, you'll also find a washer/dryer unit and a heat pump. It's an unusual place to store them, but it works behind they're neatly hidden away from view.

If the Grand Gable is an ultra-comfortable sanctuary, its bathroom feels like a miniature spa. A six-foot (1.8 meters) free-standing bathtub with a retro design replaced the conventional shower, and the vintage look is also supported by a beautiful copper vessel sink and black faucets. Forget the basic, compact bathrooms inside most tiny homes. When it comes to the Grand Gable, the bathroom is a luxury spa where you can relax in the bathtub and look at the stars through the large window.

The bathroom is also equipped with an eco-friendly composting toilet and a large, open-concept vanity for ample storage. You couldn't ask for more. The Grand Gable is big on style, just as it is on space.

The opposite end of the house is entirely dedicated to the kitchen. This custom home took full advantage of its generous dimensions when it came to the kitchen, which feels incredibly spacious. The lovely large windows add an abundance of natural light. The wheat-colored walls complement the bright-white kitchen cabinets with cedarwood countertops. It's a tribute to the popular Scandinavian style with a twist.

The mini fridge has a mint green retro design that reminds us of vintage campers and RVs. Another distinctive feature is the separate dining table with a sparkly green insert. It creates a cozy dining nook for two with great views without using the counter space or cluttering the kitchen area.

Despite the traditional, elegant look, this large kitchen also adds an unexpected off-grid layer. Instead of conventional appliances, it boasts a full-size propane stove and a solar fridge. The house was also prepped for the addition of a rustic wood stove. Add to that the composting toilet, and you have a stylish and comfortable family house that's actually equipped for sustainable, off-grid living.

Last but not least, the loft bedroom also flaunts beautiful architecture, highlighted by the open-concept handrail doubling as a protection wall. It offers enough space for a large bed or two smaller beds, plus a tiny nook for reading or playing games.

This beautiful space comes with great views of both the entire house and the outside, thanks to multiple large windows. Plus, there's a vented skylight for even more luminosity. Kids, in particular, would enjoy this cozy and fun cocoon the most.

Pricing for this size category starts at $200,000, but keep in mind that this is also a highly customized build. Still, Style &Grace has numerous options available, including smaller dwellings between 16 and 18 feet (4.8 – 5.4 meters), with pricing starting at $100,000.

The Grand Gable is a fabulous example of a tiny house designed for big living, proving that even family homes on wheels can successfully blend optimal functionality with impressive style.
