Tesla is at an all-time high in the automotive world, if you ask us – and it's all thanks to the best-selling Model Y crossover, the lower-pricing strategy, plus the impending arrival of the eagerly-awaited Cybertruck.
The Tesla Model Y has become so beloved in America that its single-motor RWD version is currently out of stock – with only the (more expensive) dual-motor AWD variants still up for grabs. After all, it's the best-selling EV on the market, so, logically, some production constraints or money-grabbing strategies might be at play.

It's also on its way toward becoming the overall best-selling new vehicle in Europe this year! As for the Cybertruck, something might be brewing at Tesla because early reservation holders have started reporting their builds no longer appear in their accounts – which leads to suspicions that the American company might soon open the configurator tools for them.

Naturally, that makes a lot of people utterly enamored with everything related to Tesla. For example, the good folks over at the car.design.trends channel have recently focused our attention on an unofficial new Tesla model proposal. It's a trendy minivan that could cover the area of EVs alongside the Volkswagen ID.Buzz – and an unofficial proposal from the teslapro community.

Because MPVs have been out of fashion for some time, maybe not even a Tesla minivan could save them from going extinct – especially if people liken this design to one of the ugliest automobiles that ever roamed the planet, aka the Fiat Multipla. However, there was something else from the resident pixel master that attracted our attention with much more positive effects.

That would be their unofficial Tesla Model P design proposal. Obviously, the letter stands for a pickup truck as the model represents an interesting alternative design for the natural world's Cybertruck. It's unlike anything Tesla has done so far and also doesn't steal any DNA from current EV pickup trucks like the Ford F-150 Lightning, GMC Hummer EV, Rivian R1T, Chevy Silverado EV and GMC Sierra EV, or Ram 1500 REV.

It also goes against every percept showcased by the edgy Cybertruck – it's more like a sports car EV turned into a full-size pickup truck with zero emissions. Additionally, the resident CGI expert presented the virtual Tesla Model P 'concept' in different colors to see if people would choose darker or lightly-colored shades. Overall, it's not a bad effort for an alternatively-styled Tesla pickup truck.

However, we all know that it will forever remain just wishful thinking. On the other hand, Tesla is hopefully closing down on the development period for the Cybertruck as people are becoming 'a little' impatient after placing their reservations almost four years ago, in November 2019.
