Tesla Cybertruck is a regular occurrence in the Bay Area, with the internet flooded with pictures and videos of the electric pickup. Still, none is as intriguing as the one showing a Cybertruck pulled over by cops. Even more so is that Tesla's chief designer, Franz von Holzhausen, appears to be sitting behind the wheel.
Tesla Cybertruck is becoming the hottest topic in the Teslasphere as anticipation grows about the start of deliveries. There's a lot of noise surrounding the pickup truck and Giga Texas, where it will be produced. Tesla is keeping intriguingly quiet about the Cybertruck's features, pricing, and start of deliveries. This makes information about the outlandish pickup all the more precious.

Every day, we wake up to pictures and videos of the Cybertruck, Giga Texas and its production line, or body parts and components. You'd think people got fatigued with all this constant stream of information, but it's the opposite. The more they find out, the more questions they have and the more they look for answers. This is why every video and picture on social media is passionately commented on. Just look at the drama started by the Cybertruck's new wheels.

Another video of the Cybertruck might not be the most exciting event to happen right now, or so I thought. This time, a Cybertruck appeared to have been pulled over by the police. Intriguing, I said at first, without giving it much thought. This changed when I noticed a bearded person behind the steering wheel, which reminded me of somebody at Tesla driving a Cybertruck: Franz von Holzhausen.

Tesla's chief designer is using a Cybertruck release candidate as a daily driver and was seen driving it on many occasions. Although the video of the pickup truck pulled over by cops is blurry, I am pretty sure it was von Holzhausen driving it. Other people on social media who saw the video have come to the same conclusion. Now, the question is, what has he done to prompt the police to stop him?

As many pointed out, it's rare to be stopped by police on I-405 in Los Angeles unless you do something egregious. It looks more like a friendly talk, considering the police officer is talking to the driver through the right window. This could be just him asking questions about the pickup, as anyone would do if given the chance.

From there on, people got very creative in imagining the discussions between the two. "I stopped you because goddammit that truck is so cool, I want one," is a nice line, although "I’m going to need to see your license, registration, specs, and price, please" could be cooler. Add to that a delivery date, and we can call it a day. Another fun line would be, "I noticed you were stopped on the side of the road. Can I get you a tow truck?" That goes well with the images of another Cybertruck left in the middle of the road while covered with a tarp.
