Ferrari’s upcoming hypercar, the successor of the Enzo, is getting a huge amount of power. It combines a V12 engine, rumored to be producing around 900 hp, with a 120 hp KERS system, to reach a combined output, in excess of the 1,000 hp mark.
However, real details have been sketchy so far, but with a new leaked image, courtesy of autoblog.nl, the layout of the engine, as well as the multitude of colored cables which drive the electric system are now clearly visible. The picture shows how and where the electric motor sits, and how all the wiring is set up.

It is placed behind the dual-clutch seven-speed transmission, while the the hybrid power unit sits on top of it. It also gets an extra generator, which is used just for charging the batteries. While it isn’t much, it does help us better understand the upcoming hypercar, and we are still waiting on official details - let’s just hope we don’t have to wait until the car’s debut, which is set to take place in March of next year.
