The original Jeep Wagoneer (shown above) has always been a cool SUV, but a new age of enthusiasts has taken a liking to this and other classic vehicles not traditionally sought after by car collectors. Digging deeper into this trend, Hagerty Insurance is hosting a free seminar that will be taking a look at the generational shifts in car collecting.
If you happen to be in Monterey, CA for the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, this seminar will be held today from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time (1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time and 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. UTC ) at the Monterey Convention Center. Even if you’re not among the lucky souls to be in Monterey this week or you won’t be able to make it to the Monterey Convention Center, the seminar will also be broadcast online during the same hours.

The moderator for the seminar will be Adam Martin, vice president of The Hagerty Institute for Collector Vehicles with panelists including Dave Kinney, publisher of the Hagerty Price Guide; Donald Osborne, appraiser, automotive journalist and television personality; Ezekiel Wheeler, founder and Editor-in-Chief of Automotive Styles; Dan Stoner, founder of Autocult and director of new marketing for Hemmings Motor News; Rob Sass, publisher of Hagerty Classic Cars magazine; and Rory Carroll, executive editor at Autoweek.

As the tide changes in car collecting, it will be interesting to hear what changes these experts see in store for future events like Pebble Beach. The panel will discuss vehicles that are hot now, vehicles that will always be strong performers among collectors and those that might be forgotten about… among certainly many other topics. As today’s Bonhams auction could produce the most expensive vehicle ever sold at auction, we’ll be curious to see which cars are today's hottest among collectors and which remain sleepers.

To watch the seminar online, just head HERE during the times listed above.
