Not surprisingly, Suzuki gave up on selling automobiles in the US and is now focusing exclusively on those much sexier bikes. But its four-wheeled creations are a bit better suited for the European market, and they are now trying to eek out a profit with small refreshes.
We’ve already shown you the 2013 Jimny last month, and now Suzuki UK is revealing a mildly updated Grand Vitara also for the UK market. The SUV has a new front end look with new grille, bumpers, foglight bezels, some black plastic accents for the headlights and 17-inch or 18-inch alloy wheel designs.
Interior changes include new seats across the model range and a 6.1-inch Colour Navigation System as standard on the 5-door SZ5 models.
On the engine front, the 1.9-liter diesel burns just a tiny bit cleaner and brings slightly better fuel economy as well – 42.8mpg from 41.5mpg UK.
Prices for the 2013 Grand Vitara in Britain start at £15,995 for SZ3 3-door with the base 1.6-liter engine.
