Unveiled at this years Shanghai Auto Show, the Suzuki Authentics concept is scheduled to be offered as a production model in China by 2014.
Although no details or photos of the actual production car have been revealed so far, the first renderings with the new Chinese-exclusive C-segment vehicle have surfaced on the Internet via Theophilus Chin.
“I believe this final Authentics will not differ too much form the concept,” says the self-proclaimed automotive manipulator, adding that the concept has received door handles, side mirror and redesigned front and rear bumpers to become a production model. Other revisions include a reshaped trunk lid, smaller wheels, and no chrome side strips.
Expected to arrive in China by the end of 2014, the new Suzuki Authentics will be manufactured and distributed by the Chongquing Changan Suzuki Automobile Co. joint venture.
