Here at autoevolution, we’re big fans of what the new Subaru BRZ has to offer and for how much. For two long has the Japanese automaker adopted its manly all-wheel drive attitude in the detriment of having a bit of fun. Heck, if Lotus has turned one of their cars into a rally racer, it would be interesting to see the BRZ hitting the dirt and gravel.
Getting back to the subject at hand, CarAdvice magazine today reports that Subaru Australia will also import the BRZ starting next year, as it will hit as early as May in limited numbers. An official announcement is supposed to arrive next week, and Subaru is still pondering how hey will market a car under the same brand that only offers AWD and chest hair.
No word on the BRZ’s sticker, but Toyota’s 86 is supposed to cost between $35,000 and $40,000.
