An increasing number of people are now aspiring toward more sustainable and mindful ways of living, and tiny homes on wheels seem to be the solution for many of those who are looking for eco-friendly, flexible, portable, and travel-friendly living spaces.
What started as a cute little trend is now an ever-growing business, and tiny home designs have greatly evolved over the years, so living in a compact dwelling no longer means sacrificing modern comforts. This beautiful mobile tiny house designed and built by California-based KJE Tiny Homes proves it.

It is called Napa, measures 32 feet (9.7 meters) long and 8.5 feet (2.6 meters) wide, and manages to squeeze inside some unexpected features that you usually find in conventional family homes, such as a fireplace, a walk-in closet, and full-size appliances. Combining rustic and modern elements, this beautiful home on wheels is as elegant and sophisticated as a regular-size dwelling and boasts a well-thought-out layout that makes it both welcoming and functional.

There are some features that stand out in most compact homes built by KJE Tiny Homes, including a signature rock accent wall, an elevated bedroom platform, a breakfast bar, and a stylish exterior. Napa has all of these elements and more, making it one of the most popular designs offered by the manufacturer.

Napa is finished in scorched cedar cladding that allows for a rustic, burnt timber look, while the interior is in stark contrast with the exterior dark appearance thanks to the numerous windows that flood the space with natural light.

The clever layout incorporates a beautiful living room, two comfortable bedrooms, a gourmet kitchen, and a spacious bathroom. The bright interior boasts beautiful shiplap walls that give the living space a luxury farmhouse look. A rock accent wall in the living room, the wood ceilings, and exposed beams highlight the rustic appeal, while crown molding and drop lighting give the home a tinge of contemporary aesthetic.

It's already known that the kitchen is usually the focal point of many houses, big or small. In tiny houses, this is all the more valid, and the kitchen stands out the most in this tiny home design as well.

Napa has an L-shaped kitchen, with the shorter arm cleverly incorporating the sink and also serving as a breakfast bar for two. Plenty of white base and overhead cabinets cater to the inhabitant's kitchen storage needs, while the beautiful wooden countertop adds to the rustic vibe. The space's functionality is ensured by a two-hob cooktop and an oven, and there is also space for a full-size fridge.

Next to the kitchen is the small yet elegant living room that offers enough space for a loveseat sofa in front of the electric fireplace. A beautiful rock accent wall frames the fireplace and the TV above it.

In terms of accommodation, Napa can sleep four people in its two bedrooms. The main sleeping space is situated downstairs but sits on the company's signature elevated platform that provides the benefit of a standing height bedroom and the extra storage space below.

The clever use of space makes it possible for this bedroom to not only offer sleeping space for two but also include a full-width walk-in closet for the owner's clothes, shoes, and other personal items. This feature is probably Napa's strongest suit, as it is something you don't often see in tiny houses, or at least not of this size.

Beneath the bedroom platform, you will find a small cubicle that can be used as a storage room for stowing away additional personal belongings or even as a cat house for those who have a pet.

The secondary bedroom is in the loft above the bathroom and can be accessed via a removable ladder. This one is less spacious but can still fit a double bed and is bright enough thanks to the windows flanking it.

The attention to detail and classy style is reflected in the bathroom as well. This space features tiled floors and walls and includes all the basics for your sanitary needs. A sizeable vanity with a sink, a toilet, and a shower with a glass enclosure make it fully functional, and the builders also incorporated a washer/dryer hookup and a stackable area for laundry.

Like many tiny house builders, KJE Tiny Homes is a family-owned business, and they built their first small dwelling in 2016 on their family's property. They have greatly grown and evolved since then and delivered numerous unique homes to tiny living enthusiasts. Each of their tiny houses is custom made to fit the owner's lifestyle and preferences.

The Napa design is one of their most popular layouts and allows for great customization so that the future owner can put their personal stamp on it. No pricing details are available, and since it is a custom build, the final cost is bound to vary depending on features and materials, so you'd better contact the company for more details.
