Whether you’re in the market for a comfortable full-size sedan, a utilitarian ute or a family-oriented Sportwagon, the 2015 Holden Commodore is a four-wheeled jack-of-all-trades. Only sold in The Oz, the VF Commodore is once again available in Storm Special Edition format.
According to General Motors’ division from the Land Down Under, the value-packed Commodore Storm came back due to rising demand for such a package. So what does this special edition add over the base Commodore SV6 and SS sedan, ute or Sportwagon?

“Australia’s Best Car" category winner for "Large Car under $70,000” is the type of vehicle that comes generously equipped from the get-go. Just to name the most important bits and bobs, we’ll mention the 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a rearview camera, Reverse Traffic and Blind Spot Alert.

Additional content added by the VF Storm package (AUD 500 over a model's price) includes special badging and embroidery on the dashboard, satellite navigation, fog lamps, unique 18-inch dark finish alloy wheels and red contrast seat stitching (leather-appointed seats aren’t available).

Peter Keley, Holden’s executive director of sales, said: “The VF Commodore Storm Special Edition struck a chord with customers in 2014 and we are sure that it will do the same in 2015. Storm offers an impressive amount of additional content, headed by satellite navigation and dark finish alloy wheels, providing our customers with a compelling package and outstanding value.”

Grunt-wise, the VF Commodore SV6 is animated by a 210 kW (281 HP) 3.6-liter SIDI direct injection V6 engine. For the 270 kW (362 HP) 6-liter Gen IV V8 tower-of-power, you’ll need to step up to the SS.
