Forget frugality and minimalism – this majestic home on wheels opens the door to unrestricted luxury. Three bedrooms, an ultra-fancy bathroom, and a dreamy chef's kitchen take the Phillips house from basic to mansion-style living standards.
If tiny homes require certain compromises in order to meet their primary goal of maximum freedom and mobility, park model homes come with the unquestionable advantage of spaciousness. One of the custom park model homes built by Movable Roots, the Phillips boasts no less than 580 square feet (53.8 square meters) of living space, including two lofts, resulting in a true mansion on wheels.

The fact that its owners had had previous experience with living in an RV full-time helped them envision the perfect mobile home. This is how the Phillips was born – a dreamy, ultra-comfortable family home with gorgeous interiors and ultra-modern functionality.

It would be hard to pick your favorite spot inside this custom tiny house. Is it the incredibly spacious kitchen? Or, perhaps, the lavish main-floor bedroom? The Phillips is luxurious from start to finish, with the calming white-and-light blue color palette adding a lovely beach house vibe.

The home's living room area was specifically designed to fit the customer's sectional couch. With large windows on one side and French doors on the other side, it also gets ample light and great views. A large section of the main floor is dedicated to the chef-style kitchen. This could easily be described as a dream kitchen, with all the appliances and storage space you'd find in typical residential designs.

The countertop space is unbelievable, topping anything you'd see in most tiny homes. The residential appliances include a huge fridge, a full-size stove, and a range hood, all stainless steel. Multiple cabinets of various sizes are paired with corner overhead cabinets and extra-long open shelves.

Multiple windows on both sides keep this large kitchen bathed in natural light throughout the day. Another pleasant surprise sits a few steps away – it's a separate breakfast bar that's bigger than what you'd find in typical tiny homes yet compact enough not to get in the way. With a rounded shape and a strategic placement, it can welcome more than two seats without taking up too much floor space.

The Phillips' main-floor master bedroom is truly a sight to behold. A king-sized bed dominates the room, with the secret perk of huge built-in storage. This was one of the owner's requests, together with a spacious closet. This beautiful bedroom is nothing short of a sanctuary. Its all-white design and big windows on each side create a tranquil atmosphere and the illusion of a wider space.

In addition to the generous walk-around space, this master bedroom comes with two elegant nightstands and a huge front closet with multiple cabinets. The large bathroom is equally luxurious.

How often do you get to see a tiny home with his and her sinks? The sophisticated dual vanity turns this bathroom instantly luxurious, along with the premium tile shower enclosure and the discretely separated toilet. A large laundry section comes with separate washer and dryer units, plus multiple storage cabinets.

The Phillips house is big on storage in every shape and form. Separate staircases provide access to each of the home's loft areas, and one of them boasts ample built-in storage. This is the one leading to the main loft bedroom. The luxurious room comes with a built-in desk and modern LED accent lighting. It was designed to become a second bedroom, as comfortable and modern as the downstairs one.

The second loft, on the other hand, was meant to be used as a recreational room for the owners' daughters. This rear loft is smaller but still big enough to include a large built-in closet with open shelves. Unlike the main loft bedroom, it only boasts a tiny window, but LED lighting does a good job of keeping the space well-lit.

Like most tiny homes over a certain length, the Phillips boasts two separate entries. From the outside, you can fully admire all the different-shaped windows and the strategic placement that make this home a luminous, airy dwelling.

In terms of costs, the custom version of the Phillips house, with all the residential appliances and premium features, is priced at $239,000. The starting price for this particular design is $220,000 – much more than your typical tiny house, but also with much more to offer.

This imposing family home with a fresh coastal vibe is built on a 40-foot (a little over 12 meters) Movable Roots trailer with a generous 10-foot (3 meters) width. Although not designed to be constantly on the road, the way a typical tiny house would be, this park model home is still easily transportable to its final destination. As a step up from living in an RV, the beautiful Phillips offers bountiful living space packed with mansion-style luxuries.
