This is not the first time our spy photographers caught up to the new Infiniti G, but up until now, they have been test mules. Now, we can finally show you a little big of what this new Japanese model with luxury ambitions looks like.
Th new Infiniti G has strong shoulders, a bit like a Volvo’s, a large grille and headlights that remind a little bit of new Mazda6.
This model will be produced in collaboration to some extent with Mercedes Benz, and will be offered with a range of new turbocharged petrol and diesel engines, together with a larger V6. The Japanese automaker has already trademarked several names for the new generation, the G35h, clearly a 3.5-liter hybrid, G30t, which could replace the G37 and G22d, pointing at a turbodiesel 2.2-liter, most likely borrowed from Mercedes.
Infiniti has officially announced the new G sedan will be shown at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2013.
