Ladies and gentlemen with a big family, we bring you the second set of spyshots featuring the new Audi A6 Allroad, highlighting the station wagon’s higher ground clearance, all-wheel drive and armor cladding protection of an SUV.
We don't expect any surprises under the hood, so the A6 Allroad Quattro will make use of the same diesel and gasoline powertrains found in the new Avant.
The entry level diesel should be a 2-liter TDI that delivers 180 hp. This is followed by three power levels of the 3.0 TDI V6 unit, which delivers 204, 245 or 310 hp respectively.
As for the petrol range, this includes a naturally aspirated 2.8-liter V6, which churns out 204 hp, as well as a supercharged 3.0-liter engine that allows the driver to use 300 hp (this is a detuned version of the engine that was introduced on the Audi S4).
We can't say for certain if it will be brought over to the US, but expect to the the new Allroad being revealed by the middle of next year, possibly in Geneva.
