'So Connected, You're Free' Is BMW's New Campaign

Since BMW worked really hard at turning the iDrive system into a class leading infotainment system, the company is now struggling to make people more aware of the great things they can achieve by using it.
In this regard, the BMW Management team decided to launch a new marketing campaign to grow awareness about the brand new ConnectedDrive.

“The new campaign places even greater emphasis on our customers. The customer discovers the benefits of many BMW ConnectedDrive services and learns how they work in entertaining short episodes designed to make in-car networking more tangible and easier to understand,” said Steven Althaus, head of Brand Management BMW and Marketing Services BMW Group.

The campaign will try to focus on emphasizing the new functions of BMW ConnectedDrive, such as Real Time Traffic Information, Remote Services, Intelligent Emergency Call or BMW Head-Up Display. To do so, they will be using 40 prints, each with a motif.

Furthermore, TV shorts will also be distributed, presenting the new features in a humorous and unconventional manner. The videos will focus more on Concierge Services, Online Entertainment and Remote Services, all of them available through the new system.

Last, but not least, we have a new website at hand to find all about the new features, a website that is currently online and has all the information you need. We're looking forward to seeing the new clips and prints from BMW.
