At the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, a couple of very lucky drivers got to experience the BMW ConnectedDrive features, even though they didn’t own a BMW. Providing you parked in the right parking space, a projected image on the wall in front of you would get you thinking for a moment.

The projected images were meant to resemble the iDrive BMW infotainment system, with the latest ConnectedDrive features. Drivers could control the interface using their honks of flashing their lights. And then, the show began.

The drivers got to experience the advantages of the new system first-hand. And we really mean FIRST-HAND. For example, when choosing the Online Entertainment option, a live performer was carried to the front of their car to perform a song at their choosing.

From that to the parking assistant feature, was only a small step. However, we won’t ruin the surprise for you and let you know what first-hand parking assistant means. Just watch the clip!
