The Aston Martin V8 Vantage N24 race car is arguably one of the best sounding race cars you could buy. It retains the 4.3-liter V8 unit which powers the regular car, putting out 410 hp and 430 Nm of torque, but it has a sports exhaust and it weighs considerably less than its street-faring stablemate - it is a true racing car, with muscle car sound as a bonus.
Marchettino was fortunate enough to go for a passenger’s seat ride of the Nurburgring Nordschleife in an N24, and by the look on his face, it was a mildly-scary experience, and an enjoyable one nonetheless.
It really feels like a true racing experience, with helmets, racing seats and a racing harness, as well as ultra-firm racing suspension, race-spec tires. However, you’d expect all that for the €120,000 you have to pay for the privilege of owning such a great piece of British engineering.
