Making efficient and cheap cars even more efficient or cheap is the key to success. After SEAT launched its own city car last year, the Mii will get a version that is cheaper to run.
The Mii Ecofuel has been announced by the Spanish carmaker as one of the new cars they will present at the Geneva Motor Show. The car still comes with a 1-liter three-cylinder engine, but this has been reconfigured to run on compressed natural gas (CNG).
Not only are you pretty much guaranteed to have a car that’s about half as expensive to fill up, since CNG is cheaper, but it’s also good for the environment, because it only emits 79 grams of CO2 per kilometer.
The Mii Ecofuel is also flexible, since it can still run on regular petrol fuel. The filler nozzle for CNG is hidden right next to the petrol one, so nobody will know you’re a penny pincher.Power output is slightly down compared to a regular petrol car at 75 PS, but since it only costs €12,050 in Germany, it’s very cheap to buy as well.
