So, it is time for the LA Auto Show to give us the name of Miss 2012 Green Car of the Year. The winner is neither a diesel nor a hybrid. It's not even a petrol. So, what is it then? The 2012 Honda Civic Natural Gas.
Right now, the Ford Focus Electric, Mitsubishi i, Toyota Prius V and the Volkswagen Passat TDI are crying and will probably destroy the makeup on their headlights.

The Green Car of the Year award is being offered by Green Car Journal, with the participants having been shortlisted by GCJ editors and then selected by a panel of  industry and environment experts.

Since the new Civic proved to be a bit of a disappointment, this should come as extremely good news for Honda.
