As you probably know, SEAT Ibiza Bocanegra was officially shown to the world at this year's Barcelona Auto Show but, at that time, only a few photos with the car were actually available. So here we are back on the subject with lots of new photos with the recently-revealed model.

First presented as a concept in 2008 at the Geneva Motor Show, the Ibiza Bocanegra boasts a pretty aggressive stance on the road, partially thanks to its exterior appearance comprising extended headlights, large front bumper and fog lamps. The car also comes with 17-inch Sira alloy wheels, darkened sunroof and rear window plus black exterior mirror casings.

As for the interiors, SEAT's model features sport seats upholstered with special fabric made up of rhomboids stitched together in red and ending with three-spoke steering wheel with the B capital in the middle of the vertical spoke. Additionally, it offers gloss black aluminum-clad pedals and Bocanegra logo on the instrument panel.

In terms of engine configurations, the Ibiza Bocanegra relies on a single powerplant with two different outputs. The twin-charged 1.4-liter generates either 150 or 180 PS, according to data offered by SEAT. There are no fuel consumption figures available, but the Spanish manufacturer says the engine is capable of achieving "exceptional" fuel economy.

"The surprise unveiling of Luc Donckerwolke's brilliant design concept at Geneva last year caused a real buzz around the show, and I'm sure the appearance of this remarkable production version will do the same in Barcelona," head of SEAT UK, Peter Wyhinny, said. "I'm very much looking forward to seeing right-hand drive versions of the Ibiza Bocanegra turning heads on UK roads later this year."
