In the quest to reach one’s destination as quickly as possible, drivers often use tram lines to bypass slow-moving traffic. The extra few seconds it wins them are definitely worth the risks they are taking: getting hit by a tram or by an unweary driver only looking out for a tram or cutting and ruining the car’s tires.
This Russian driver, in a Kia Cee`d, tries the tram line, yet he apparently does not see the Ford Mondeo which cuts it off, while trying to make a left turn. The impact is all but unavoidable, and the Kia slams into the Ford with some force, as we can judge by the surprisingly large spread of debris at the moment of impact.
There are many lessons to be drawn from this video, but the most important one is not to use tram lines while you are driving a car, as aside from setting a bad example which others sadly follow, it can also be quite dangerous for both you and others.
